HGHTS & Sajan Nauriyal Team Up To Release “Don’t Be Afraid”

As HGHTS leads up to the release of his upcoming album Hiding Place, set to release on July 21st, he teams up with Washington pop artist Sajan Nauriyal to release a new song "Don't Be Afraid." The song was produced by HGHTS and co-written with Sajan Nauriyal. The song is available today on all digital service providers via DREAM Records.
HGHTS writes, "`Don't Be Afraid' is a special song to me because since I can remember I've been afraid of the future. I constantly worry about tomorrow even though I was raised to trust God in all things that are beyond my control. The chorus of this song is what I've heard God say to me on many occasions. The words don't be afraid are repeated many times throughout the song. But for me those words don't always sink in. Sometimes I need to hear the same thing over and over again before I can believe it.
"This song expresses my need for repetition both lyrically and sonically, while at the same time showing the feeling of peace when I finally allow His words to fill my heart. Working with my good friend Sajan was a blast. He always adds so much to the songs he works on. I hope this song brings peace to anyone who struggles with fear."
Starting as a classically trained pianist, HGHTS (Nathanael Brown) has always been fascinated with the concept of mixing genres. Over the course of the past 10 years, he has toured in a metal band, performed at music festivals as a DJ, and even made his way to the semi-finals of America's Got Talent in 2022 alongside his brother Gabriel, known as Black Gryph0n on YouTube. After graduating from the Naval Academy in 2014, HGHTS served for two years as a Navy Pilot and three years as an Oceanographer, finally leaving the Navy as a Lieutenant. Since then, HGHTS has been pursuing a career as a songwriter and producer with a singular vision of reaching those who are lost with the message of hope that is found in Jesus through music.
