'Night at the Museum 3' Release Date 2014 Starring Ben Stiller & Rebel Wilson Release New Trailer for 'Secret Of The Tomb' Watch Here (VIDEO)
Night at the Museum 3 titled Secret of the Tomb from director Shawny Levy has released a new trailer, which you can watch above.
Ben Stiller will return as Larry Daley and he will be joined by new cast additions Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect) as a security guard and Ben Kingsley as Ahkemenrah's dad.
Along with Stiller, Wilson and Kingsley, the movie will star Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais and Dan Stevens.
Plot: In Secret of the Tomb, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) travels to London to find out why the golden tablet (which is the reason why the figures in the museum come to life every night) is beginning to malfunction.
The third and final movie in this trilogy is set to release to theaters on December 19th from 20th Century Fox.
The first Night at the Museum movie, released in 2006, followed divorced dad Larry Daley as he takes on a job as a security guard and tries to reconnect with his son. He learns that the figures in the museum come to life at night because of a special artifact (the tablet of Ahkemenrah) and learns to enjoy his offbeat, unique job - despite the presence of a few nefarious characters.
2009's Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian saw a successful Larry returning to help save his friends as the tablet is stolen. New faces like Amelia Earheart (Amy Adams) and Joey Motorola (Jay Baruchel) made an appearance in this film.
Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb was written by Robert Ben Garant, David Guion, Michael Handelman and Thomas Lennon.
