'The Huntsman' Movie to Star Chris Hemsworth & Charlize Theron For 'Snow White' Prequel Releasing in 2016
Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron are set to star in the upcoming movie The Huntsman. The movie will be a prequel to the hit film Snow White and the Huntsman and and will tell the story of how The Huntsman and Ravenna met.
This movie will take place before either met Snow White. It will delve deeper into The Hustman's life. According to ComingSoon.net, the movie reveals "how the fates of two characters, The Huntsman Eric and Ravenna, intersected before they met Snow White," who was played by Kristen Stewart in the original film.
So Kristen Stewart will not make an appearance in the upcoming film, which is a change of plans as they originally said that her character would be present in some form. Snow White and the Huntsman released in 2012 and grossed about $400 million worldwide.
Director and writer Frank Darabont will lead The Huntsman, meaning that Rupert Sanders will not be apart of the project.
Sanders and Kristen Stewart were caught having an affair on the set of the movie which may have affected the choices for Sanders and Stewart not to be a part of the upcoming film.
At the time, Stewart released a statement about the affair.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," Stewart said. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
