Zak Williams & 1AKORD Take Another Hit Single To Gospel Radio "Glory To Your Name"

Without a doubt, Zak Williams & 1AKORD is one of Gospel music's premier choirs. Zak and his singers have maintained incredible momentum with award wins, major appearances, and multiple chart-topping Billboard and Mediabase radio hits.
Their REVISITED album debuted at #2 on the iTunes Top Gospel and Christian Albums chart. It yielded the Top 20 Mediabase Gospel Radio Chart hit, "Jesus I'll Never Forget," featuring Stellar Award-winning vocalist Lowell Pye. Zak & 1A announce their follow-up single and future chart-topping hit "Glory To Your Name," written by and featuring Garland "Miche" Waller.
Dr. Garland Waller, known to the music industry as "Miche," gained notoriety as pianist for Pastor John P. Kee and his New Life Fellowship Church in Charlotte, NC. He became Pastor Kee's Music Director and produced most songs and musical arrangements for his iconic albums including NEVER SHALL FORGET (1994) and LEVEL NEXT (2015). Miche wrote "Glory To Your Name" almost twenty years ago for the opening of service at New Life Fellowship. As part of the vision for Zak's REVISITED album - to revisit great Gospel songs with 1A's fresh approach, Zak & 1A opened their live recording with "Glory To Your Name," setting the tone for their incredible night of worship and an acclaimed album release.
Zak and his award-winning choir are set to celebrate twenty years of Gospel music and ministry. Their 20th Anniversary Concert and Video Recording will take place on Saturday, April 27, in Camden, New Jersey. Special guests include Kevin Lemons' Higher Calling, Lowell Pye, Rev. Earnest Davis Jr's Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, and guest host Meta Washington from Kirk Franklin's Praise - Sirius XM Radio. Advance tickets are available now here.
