Islander Releases New Album, Titled "Grammy Nominated"

Rock band Islander self-released their latest album, titled Grammy Nominated on Friday, June 28.
"I know that bands say this sometimes, but our new album 'GRAMMY NOMINATED' is hands down our heaviest yet. We felt the freedom to do what we wanted to do, now that we are independent. We had been told that if we scream too much or don't lighten up on the guitars, that people wouldn't like it. We just did the opposite of that. This is our best record, and I can't wait for everyone to hear it. The lead single 'WEIGHT OF THE WORLD' is about carrying on even though this life feels heavy most of the time. It's straight to the point and you can headbang to it. So what's not to like?" - Mikey Carvajal (lead vocals)
Grammy Nominated debuted at #3 on the Apple Music Charts. "Ritual Of Death" is the #2 Most Added song at Metal Radio. "What A Time To Be Alive" premiered on Sirius XM Octane.
From Billboard charting songs, an Album Of The Year Award, Video Game Soundtracks, to touring with the likes of KORN, PAPA ROACH, P.O.D., COREY TAYLOR, SEETHER, I PREVAIL, NOTHINGMORE, BABYMETAL, and MANY OTHERS. ISLANDER still believes in the DIY passion that started their trajectory into mainstream rotation. Their message is to love one another. It's that simple.
