Christian Artists & Leaders React to Donald Trump Surviving Assassination Attempt

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a gunman attempted to assassinate the former president Donald Trump while he was speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The Secret Service gunned down the 20-year-old Thomas Crooks from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania who tried to kill Trump.
Trump was released from the hospital late Saturday night, hours after an assassination attempt was made on his life and caused the death of one campaign rally attendee and critically wounded two others.
Christian artists and pastors have expressed their concerns and prayers following the failed attempt to murder the former president.
Tasha Owens:
We are praying that God will continue to cover President Trump with protection.
Sean Feucht:
GOD JUST SPARED PRESIDENT TRUMPS LIFE!!!!! 3 sniper shots at him and 1 grazed his right ear. 1 inch to the right and he would be dead. PRAY FOR HIM NOW!!

Our hearts break for the family and friends of the innocent lives that were lost today and for those who were injured in the shooting at former President Trump's rally in Pennsylvania. At moments like this, where words fail, our prayers don't. This tragedy reminds us of the critical importance of praying for our nation, and in particular the current presidential election. Please join me in praying for President Trump and all those impacted by this heinous act. May the Lord's peace and comfort surround them all and may we be ever vigilant in praying for peace, and God's will and protection for America.
Alveda C. King, Chair of the America First Policy Institute's Center for the American Dream:
"I grieve today for the hatred that was displayed tonight as an assassination attempt was made on the life of President Trump. I am forever grateful for the brave men and women of the Secret Service. My prayers are with President Trump, his family and all of America tonight! It's time for our nation to commit itself to prayer, forgiveness, nonviolence and unity."

Bobbie Houston, Founding Pastor of Hillsong Church:
The "spirit of lawlessness, division, vitriol, hatred, and in this case (attempted) assassination and murder" has to end.
Lord have mercy on this nation of America, and every other nation for that matter.
Regardless of one's political standing -
PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS.
(POLITICAL, CHURCH, SOCIETY)
PRAY FOR FORMER PRESIDENT TRUMP & HIS FAMILY.
PRAY FOR THE FAMILY OF THE FATALITY & INJURED.
PRAY FOR THIS WORLD.
PRAY THAT DANGEROUS EXTREMISTS ARE CONTAINED.
