Dwan Hill Sings About Jesus' Return with "Maranatha"

Dwan Hill introduces "Maranatha," a sung prayer of longing for the Lord's return. Co-written with Ben Shive, the song balances its weighty theme with a meditative and groovy soundscape. Listen to the song HERE.
With horns and an organ as the sonic backbone, "Maranatha" features a choir, making it a communal song that invites listeners to join in with this prayer. The new single is a creative embodiment of the ultimate joining of heaven and earth, whilst holding the current reality in tension with this promised hope.
Hill cleverly reminds us of Christ's patience for those yet to turn to him and also honestly illustrates the forbearance of believers in waiting for their Savior. Following on from his last single ("Mansion"), this new song is meant to continue bringing fresh expectation in the midst of the trauma and catastrophe in the world at-large. "Maranatha" is a song full of imagery reviving hope that troubles will end, and that we will reign with Christ.
Hill is a 3x GRAMMY award-winning, 2x Dove award-winning, 2x ASCAP Rhythm and Soul award winning singer-songwriter, producer, musician, writer, and church leader based in Nashville, TN. He has toured worldwide as the music director for CeCe Winans as well as with Lauren Daigle, Jonny Lang, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, and Tauren Wells.
Having launched his own publishing companies - "Big Buddy Music" and "Let Them Hear" - and being an active Integrity Music writer, Dwan Hill is a prolific creative known for his alternative approach and quirky style. As part of his involvement in Integrity Music, he is a member of worship communities REVERE and Anchor Hymns. He is also a speaker, has two #1 gospel radio hits with "Believe For It" by CeCe Winans and "He's My Rock" by Bri Babineaux, hosts the "Hey Wise Guys" podcast, and successfully launched "The Choir Room." Dwan's most prized treasures are his wife Laura and their children Tobin and Nyla.
