Faith-Based Film "A Carpenter’s Prayer," Staring Stephen Baldwin, Coming to Streaming Sept 24

Family Movies Events, a new entertainment distribution company focusing on wholesome family-centric content announced today the September 24th premiere date for the home entertainment release of their first title "A Carpenter's Prayer." The film stars Stephen Baldwin ('The Usual Suspects'), Bethany Anne Lind ('Ozark'), and Reno Reyes ('The Walking Dead'). The film will be available on all major streaming services for both rental and download purchase.
For their debut title, Family Movie Events partnered with Integrity Releasing, a distribution company with deep connections in the faith community, who brought in 'A Carpenter's Prayer'. The film was written and directed by Matt Webb ('Praying the Hours') who also produced along with Lance Clark ('Patterns'). The film was shot in a variety of locations in and around northern Indiana and Huntington University.
"At Family Movie Events, we strive to deliver high-quality, family-friendly films to communities across America," said Harmon Kaslow, President of Family Movie Events. "The enthusiastic response to 'A Carpenter's Prayer' in theaters is a testament to the power of these heartwarming stories, and we're thrilled to offer it on streaming platforms for even wider accessibility."
"A Carpenter's Prayer" tells the inspiring true story of a pastor and his family who set out to build a new church in 1970s rural Michigan. Along the way, they face challenges that threaten to unravel everything when an afflicted carpenter becomes their unlikely source of hope, proving that faith in God is the true path to redemption, even in the most tragic circumstances.
"The Integrity Releasing team knew we had a winner with 'A Carpenter's Prayer' and we're excited that families around the country agreed", said Heather O'Quinn, President of Integrity Releasing. "This film is just the beginning of how we plan to work with Family Movie Events to superserve the faith-based audience and bring them the top-shelf entertainment they deserve".
"I am very excited that Forester Film's debut feature, 'A Carpenter's Prayer,' a true story about my childhood, is coming to homes around the country in September," said producer Lance Clark.
