Here Are Lyrics to Keith and Kristyn Getty's "How Great Is the Greatness of God"

Keith and Kristyn Getty are thrilled to share "How Great Is the Greatness of God" --- the first of four upcoming releases recorded live at Sing! 2024: The Songs of the BIble. This buoyant, singalong hymn of praise was written by Matt Boswell, Matt Papa, and Bryan Fowler and draws inspiration from Psalm 145:3: "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable" (ESV).
You can listen to the new song, watch the performance and lyric videos, and be on the lookout as we share a collection of resources including free sheet music downloads, tutorials, and more in the coming days.
CHORUS
How faithful the Father above
How wondrous the works of the Song
How sweet is the Spirit given to us
How great is the greatness of God
VERSE 1
Morning by morning with every dawn,
My soul with a new song awaits
Still in the evening my praise goes on;
Forever my God is the same
VERSE 2
When my heart gazes on Calvary,
At all of your mercies arrayed
"Oh, that my Savior would die for me!"
I sing out with infinite thanks
VERSE 3
Oh what a comfort in every trial;
His presence is all that I need
Power that brought resurrection life,
That power is living in me
