The Group Fire Releases New Ballad “About Last Night”
After a series of full-lengths and singles that charted on Billboard's Gospel Airplay ("More Than Friends," "Again") and a spotlight performance during The Stellar Awards, The Group Fire comes back in 2024 on "About Last Night," mixing quiet storm with a profession of faith. Their dexterous harmonies led by Terelle Cooper are dipped into an old-school R&B ballad a la Boyz II Men, but relays a testimonial of a changed life who seeks the Lord in all their decisions.

"About Last Night" (Jet Records North/East) is produced by Steve Cooper (assisted by Terelle, Juwan and Justin Cooper) and currently available on most digital platforms.
A band of two sets of brothers have carved a special place in the R&B and jazz worlds while preaching the scriptures, beginning with their 2012 debut CD, It Takes a Village. Since their inception, The Group Fire are anchored by Terelle, Justin & Juwan Cooper, and Tajohn & Al-Shamir Hill, in the essence of gospel vocal bands such as Commissioned and The Winans.
