Audio Adrenaline's "Some Kind of Zombie" Remastered; Vinyl Pre-Orders Launch Today
Girder Records is excited to announce the long-awaited vinyl reissue of Audio Adrenaline's iconic 1997 album, Some Kind of Zombie. This remastered edition will be available for pre-order starting January 17, 2025, exclusively on GirderMusic.com, with an official release date of April 18, 2025.
Featuring a stunning Zombie Virus Green color that perfectly captures the raw energy and experimental edge of this groundbreaking record. This limited-edition release includes all 10 original tracks from the album, fully remastered for vinyl, plus a special bonus: the Criscoteque Mix of the title track, Some Kind of Zombie. Limited to just 300 units worldwide.
Originally released in 1997, Some Kind of Zombie marked a bold shift for Audio Adrenaline, blending alternative rock with their signature faith-driven lyrics. Recorded at Ardent Recordings in Memphis and Shakin' Studios in Franklin, the album was produced by the legendary John Hampton and mixed by Skidd Mills.
This album saw the debut of guitarist Tyler Burkum and officially welcomed drummer Ben Cissell into the band. Fans will also remember the explosive collaboration on "Blitz", featuring guest vocals from Matt Morginsky of Christian ska pioneers The O.C. Supertones.
The remastered vinyl edition breathes new life into this unforgettable album, delivering stunning audio clarity and an exclusive collector's experience.
