Trampolines And The Band JAREN Issue Missional Call With “Here To Work”

Trampolines and The Band JAREN have teamed up for missional new song "Here To Work," streaming everywhere January 24. The bands also released a corresponding music video.
Continuing in the calling both bands have heavily lived from in the past, "Do The Work" is an invitation to listeners to fully embrace the call of Christ as His hands and feet.
"'Here to Work' is really a missional call, a campaign for the clear calls of the Bible: to use our time on this planet for God, to do the things He has asked us to do. Things like free the oppressed, feed the hungry, help the sick, make disciples, and build an army to do more of that," Trampolines co-leader Lane Terzieff explains. "It feels like this punk-rock activist scream to the world: hey, life is short. Let's not waste time. God is real. Let's do this."
Trampolines embodies the call to truly be one part of the Body of Christ through frequent collaborations with likeminded artists. For "Here To Work," they enlisted the skills of friends and former tour mates in The Band JAREN, a rising all-girl group who offers vocals and violin.
Lane says, "They felt so intentional about their mission, and we knew when we were writing this song that they were the band to collaborate with."
Loren D. Clark, who plays bass for TobyMac, rounded out the song's impressive roster of musicians. Nicholas Riley mixed the track.
The result is a high-energy, genre-bending track that slides effortlessly between EDM, rock and pop influences to create a clarion call for infectious action. "Here To Work" is backed up by an unusual band resume that proves living the Gospel is possible: Trampolines spends much of their time on humanitarian missions to some of the most dangerous places in the world, investigating human trafficking, providing practical famine relief, and offering music and the hope of Jesus wherever they go. In the past six months, they've spent time on the frontlines of a war zone in Ukraine and undercover combating trafficking in Southeast Asia.
100% of the profits from their band go back towards this work and their nonprofit, UNIT+E. Trampolines, which is led by Lane and his wife Cary, views music and mission as one and the same. "Here To Work" is not just aspirational: it's a roadmap from people who are already on the journey.
