Cade Thompson Adds His Own Unique Artistry to Phil Wickham's "Divine Romance"

Red Street Records' Christian recording artist Cade Thompson released his rendition of "Divine Romance," (STREAM HERE), a 2006 recording by GMA Dove award-winner and GRAMMY-nominated CCM star Phil Wickham. Reviving the heart-wrenching love story to God that is "Divine Romance," Thompson's version delivers the same weight in its message while adding his own unique artistry and sound. Thompson shares, "Recording 'Divine Romance' has been such a special experience for so many reasons. This was the first song I had ever sang outside of church for my eighth grade talent show, and it has continued to inspire me as an artist. I hope that everyone who listens feels the weight of its message and rejoices in the divine romance we have with our Creator." Check out Cade's talent show performance of "Divine Romance" HERE. |
Originally written by Wickham and produced by Peter Kipley, Thompson's adaptation of "Divine Romance" was produced by award-winning producer and recording artist David Leonard. The track launches a long-awaited new chapter of music and kicks off new tour dates including direct support on Leanna Crawford's Still Waters tour slated for Spring 2025.
