CXMMXNS Unites with Hillsong's Dave Ware on "Remember Christ"

"Remember Christ," the newest release from CXMMXNS (made up of Grammy award winning writers Ben Fielding & Reuben Morgan) points us all back to the foot of the cross. Fellow Hillsong alum David Ware ("Cornerstone", "Jesus I Need You", "Fresh Wind") lends his voice to this special song.

The song is designed for communion services, focusing on reflecting upon Jesus' sacrifice and the new life it brings. The lyrics emphasize gratitude and remembrance, with lines like "Remember Christ the Son of God and Son of Man" and "We give thanks, thanks to the Lord."
Ben Fielding explained, "Worship always involves remembering who God is and what He has done. REMEMBER CHRIST enables us to sing the theology of the Lord's Supper, but also like Christ Himself, to give thanks and to "proclaim His death until He returns". In other words, the hope of forgiveness and the love of God revealed through the cross and the death (and resurrection!) of Jesus."
Fielding and Reuben Morgan, both hailing from Sydney, Australia. They have penned some of the most widely sung worship anthems in modern churches, including "Goodness of God," "Who You Say I Am," "What A Beautiful Name," "Cornerstone," and "Mighty To Save."
Launched in 2024, CXMMXNS aims to unite worshippers globally by providing local churches with accessible and theologically rich songs. Their debut project, "CXMMXNS Chapter 1," released in November 2024, features collaborations with artists like Aodhan King.
The collective emphasizes collaboration, involving both established and emerging songwriters and worship leaders, to enrich the modern worship canon. Their mission is to create worship music grounded in Scripture that fosters unity among believers through a shared focus on Christ.
