Dan Bremnes Seeks God in Darkest Hour on Autobiographical “Call Your Name”

Curb Records artist Dan Bremnes seeks God in his darkest hour on his brand new song, "Call Your Name," available today (2/28) - listen HERE. In addition, Bremnes unveils an official music video, offering a powerful visual for the track HERE.
"This is a song that has been waiting to be written for 18 years. It's been growing inside of me along with my own story and struggle," Bremnes candidly shares. "I had no idea it would take the loss of my mom, my faith and a dream to lay the foundation for these words."
"Call Your Name" - one of the most personal offerings of his career - details a life marked by moments of prayer and petition from the first time Bremnes started talking to God at age five to the desperate pleas of a son, who lost his mother in a tragic car accident in his early 20s. Approaching our Creator with an almost childlike faith, the singer-songwriter delivers raw emotion across a vocal that builds to a poignant cry, relatable to anyone who's ever called out to Jesus at rock bottom. The Canada native wrote the autobiographical original with Benji Cowart and Jordan Mohilowski, who also produced the recording.
Opening the new year with new music, Bremnes preceded "Call Your Name" with atmospheric pop track "Started With You." Both selections provide an initial glimpse into his follow-up to 2022's critically acclaimed Into the Wild.
The confessional lyricist has been tapped as direct support for Katy Nichole's upcoming "In Jesus Name Tour," where he'll be sharing future releases and previous hits in eight cities ahead of the award-winning songstress' headlining set. The outing's spring leg commences Mar. 6 in Anderson, Ind.
