John Allan Releases Debut Centricity Music Single, "Living God"

Southern California native, multi-instrumentalist and indie rock, alt-pop artist John Allan releases his Centricity Music debut single, "Living God," which is available now at streaming and digital outlets everywhere via https://johnallan.lnk.to/LivingGod. From the very first synth-laced chord progression, the song sonically recalls The Killers and is lyrically meant to incite awe and praise.
Written with Benji Cowart and Kyle Williams, who also produced the track, Allan says, "My prayer is that people put on 'Living God' and are not afraid to believe again. Maybe even someone who's jaded, who's mad at the church, who had this wonder when they were young. I pray they listen to this song and are able to find that wonder again and to know there is a God who created imagination; and He's planted that in the souls of His children. I hope it shakes cars and makes darkness run."
Chorus:
Living God! There is no other beside you
Living God! There is no other I bow to
You freed me from the grave, I'll never be the same
You ask my heart, and it will tell you you're the only name
Living God! All of my worship is for you
Inspired by the sounds of artists like The Killers, The National, Gang of Youths, Bon Iver and Novo Amor, Allan's music is a creative feast for the senses that fuses both his sonic influences and his genuine love for Jesus. With original tracks that reflect his church-centric upbringing and love of leading worship at his local SoCal church, Allan shares, "God - He's the fine artist. He is the giver of gifts, but He really is the gift. No matter what I do, it's secondary to Him.
"I almost look at it like God is the big steak on the plate, and music is the fork and the knife; and I have the honor of cutting it and getting to feed it to people," adds Allan. "Like, 'Hey, look right here. Look how good He is.' I create for the Creator, praying my music bridges the gap so people can experience Him."
