Zelda Wii-U Release Date, Review and Game Play: Game Titles to Deviate from Those of Previous Installments
The release date for the Zelda Wii-U has been reported to be February 2015. At the electronic entertainment Expo which took place some time last month, Nintendo announced that they would be releasing some Zelda games which will be available for the Wii U as well as the 3DS. At the present, Nintendo has not yet confirmed the exact release date for any one of the Zelda games. However, there was a trailer featured at the Nintendo conference at the E3 2014 for the Zelda games and the year 2015 was the last image at the end of the short clip so that would be a straight hint that the developer intends to release the games next year.
Obviously there were some questions left unanswered, for example, if the games would debut before or after the E3 2015 conference. Cyberland was the one that apparently got an unconfirmed source claiming the February release next year. As for the plot, the senior managing director, Shigeru Miyamoto is excited about the deviance of the title of the upcoming installments from that of the previous games. The previous games featured linear play where people would go from one holding cell or dungeon to the other in an orderly manner. This Wii U release will reportedly be an open environment context sort of thing where the players get to go wherever they want making more of an adventure action feeling for the players.
Actually a lot of games are going this route which limits player's inhibitions and stimulates more game play creativity, but is also hell on the developers to create a myriad of contingency settings and anticipating what the player would like. Hyrule Warriors is also a release of the Zelda franchise and is from a team up of Nintendo and Tecmo Koei which provides players with a hack and slash setting that is also based on the Zelda universe. This game is set to be released in September this year.
