Jacky Clark Chisholm to Receive the 2025 Living Legend Award

Jacky Clark Chisholm, founding member of the legendary gospel group The Clark Sisters, will be the recipient of the 2025 Living Legend Award, presented in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday, August 15 at 2:00 PM.
The Living Legend Award honors individuals who have made a lasting and extraordinary impact in the fields of music, faith, leadership, and service. It is given to pioneers whose life's work has shaped culture, uplifted communities, and left a spiritual and artistic legacy for future generations. Dr. Jacky Clark Chisholm exemplifies these qualities through her decades-long commitment to gospel music, ministry, health care, and empowerment.
Dr. Jacky Clark Chisholm is a Grammy Award-winning gospel singer, evangelist, author, educator, and registered nurse. She is best known as the eldest member of The Clark Sisters, the groundbreaking gospel ensemble whose innovative harmonies and powerful songwriting transformed contemporary gospel music. With timeless songs like "You Brought the Sunshine," "Is My Living in Vain," and "Blessed and Highly Favored," Jacky and her sisters brought gospel to a global stage, breaking records and barriers along the way.
Born into musical royalty as the daughter of the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, Jacky inherited a legacy of excellence and service. In addition to her musical accomplishments, she holds a professional nursing license and has worked in health care for over 40 years. Her unique blend of music ministry and public health advocacy includes work with the American Diabetes Association and leadership roles within the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), where she has served as Supervisor of Women.
In 2020, Jacky released her solo project "My Season," showcasing her rich vocals and unwavering message of hope and faith. She is also the author of "Intimate Portraits of Women of Faith," a tribute to spiritual resilience among Christian women. Jacky has received numerous honors throughout her life, including honorary doctorates and humanitarian awards, yet remains grounded in her mission to serve God and uplift others.
The Living Legend Award ceremony will feature a tribute concert with special musical guests, a red carpet reception, a fireside chat with Jacky Clark Chisholm, and the official award presentation. The event will take place in Nashville with general admission free to the public (RSVP required) and VIP seating options available.
