Jason Nelson & Madison Ryann Ward Drop "Made New (Radio Edit)"

One of music's coolest crooners, Jason Nelson, has teamed up with one of the indie inspirational soul music scene's most moody-mellow vocalists, Madison Ryann Ward, on the soothing new track, "Made New (Radio Edit)" (Jaelyn Song / FairTrade / Tyscot).
Their original rendition of "Made New" appeared on Nelson's Stellar Gospel Music Award nominated album, You Belong: Live in Durham (Jaelyn Song / FairTrade / Tyscot). That incarnation has racked up over six million digital streams. The public enthusiasm for the track compelled the duo to record the new live audio and video version of it at the City Winery Nashville recently. The new cut is now available at all major digital music platforms.

Over the last two decades, Nelson's amiable tenor has distinguished itself on gospel radio hits such as "Nothing Without You," "Residue," and "Forever." Five of them have hit No. 1 on Billboard's Gospel Airplay chart. He's amassed over 300 million digital streams. Nelson has also recorded with R&B singer Chrisette Michele and Jazz bassist John Patitucci. He's also recorded with gospel greats John P. Kee, Donald Lawrence, Naomi Raine, and his twin brother, Jonathan Nelson. The Lawton, Oklahoma-reared Ward grew up hearing her mother play gospel at church while also enjoying the blues and R&B that played at her father's barbecue restaurant. She's marshalled all those influences into a stunning career as an independent artist who manages her own destiny via her Zelda House Records label. Self-penned songs such as "Mirror" and "BRKN" over 100 million combined digital streams.
