Riley Clemmons Offers Prayers and Support Following Texas Flooding Tragedy at Camp Mystic

In the wake of the devastating flash floods that swept through Central Texas over the July 4th weekend, Christian recording artist Riley Clemmons is offering heartfelt prayers and words of comfort for the families, communities, and victims affected-especially those connected to the tragic loss of life at Camp Mystic.
"I can't get my mind off of the girls of Camp Mystic," Clemmons shared. "Along with every single life lost, every grieving family, and every Texas community left in the wake of impossible tragedy."
Heavy rains caused the Guadalupe River to rise by over 25 feet in just a few hours, catching many summer camps and local residents off guard. Among the hardest hit was Camp Mystic, a beloved all-girls Christian camp, where 27 campers and staff members perished. First responders and volunteers mounted heroic rescue and recovery efforts, but the scope of the loss has left the nation in mourning.
"As a believer, I've really wrestled with this," Clemmons continued. "It's pushed me into hard conversations with God. Faith is a choice-and sometimes it's a hard one. But I believe Jesus is weeping alongside the victims and those in mourning. Jesus is no stranger to suffering. He is King, but He is also the Man of Sorrows."
Clemmons encouraged her followers to continue praying and to support organizations actively involved in relief efforts. One such group, Samaritan's Purse, has mobilized teams to help with cleanup and aid in the affected areas.
"Please consider giving, serving, or praying with me. Samaritan's Purse makes it so easy to get involved," she added, sharing the donation link:

The artist concluded her message with a reference to the shortest-and one of the most poignant-verses in Scripture: "Jesus wept" (John 11:35). A photo showing those words scrawled near the devastated campgrounds has gone viral, serving as a symbol of shared grief and hope amid sorrow.
As Texas communities begin the long process of recovery, Riley Clemmons is standing in solidarity with them-offering not just her voice, but her heart and hands in prayerful support.
