Brandon Camphor & One Way Win First Stellar Award, Announce New Album "Hope Lives"

After nearly 20 years together, Brandon Camphor & One Way have claimed their first Stellar Award. The urban inspirational quartet-Brandon Camphor, Fred Cleveland, Angela Jones, and Julia McMillan Lamur-was named Traditional Duo/Chorus Group of the Year during the 40th Anniversary Stellar Awards in Nashville, TN.
Camphor reflected on the win: "This moment represents patience, perseverance, faith, and most of all PROMISE-a word God never fails to live up to!"
The award precedes new music from the group. Their recently released single, "After While," and the forthcoming "God of Mine" will appear on their new album, Hope Lives, their first full-length project since 2009's Regeneration. After While offers bold confidence in Christ amid challenging times, while God of Mine features urban contemporary artist Jor'Dan Armstrong in a rhythmic declaration of faith.
One Way has previously charted four Billboard® Top 30 singles-"You Are God," "I Choose You," "His Name," and "God of Mercy"-and released the holiday-themed EP Christmas Joy (2020). Hope Lives continues their legacy with 14 tracks designed to bring hope, including standout songs "Forever" and "God of Mercy," as well as renditions of "Goodness of God" and the Black National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
Camphor says of the album, "These songs became the soundtrack to my journey of rediscovering hope. My prayer is that they meet others in their darkest moments and lead them to the unending, life-changing hope found in truly knowing Jesus."
