Miami Heat Rumors: Reggie Williams, Shawn Jones, Greg Monroe, Chris Singleton, Shawn Marion Rumored to Join the Heat Line-Up

The Miami Heat's roster now has Dwayne Wade (point guard), Chris Bosh (center), Chris Andersen (forward-center), Shabazz Napier (point guard), Mario Chalmers (point guard), Norris Cole (point guard), Udonis Haslem (center), James Ennis (small forward), Luol Deng (small forward), Justin Hamilton (center), Danny Granger (small forward), Toney Douglas (guard), Josh McRoberts (power forward), Reggie Williams (small forward), and Tyler Johnson (shooting guard). More than half of it are newcomers.
Reggie Williams inclusion in the new Heat line-up was announced just this Thursday. The 6-6 Williams averaged 8.5 points and 2.6 rebounds in his NBA career, shooting 46 percent from the field and 37.1 percent on three-pointers but he played just three NBA games last season. He recently played for San Miguel Beer at the Philippine Basketball association.
The team has also invited Middle Tennessee State forward Shawn Jones to its training camp. Jones was Conference USA Player of the Year during the NBA's Las Vegas summer league with the Los Angeles Clippers. The additions of Williams and Jones gives the Heat 16 players. The team is allowed to have 20 players at training camp.
The team still has free agent options and, according to rumors, is considering Greg Monroe, Chris Singleton, Shawn Marion, Eric Bledsoe, Andrew Bynum, Greg Oden, Toure Murry, Rashard Lewis, Jermaine O'Neal, Shannon Brown, or Michael Beasley to provide support off the bench for the new "Big Three" of Wade, Bosch and Deng.
In related news, former Miami Heat star 39-year old Ray Allen said he is not ready to announce a decision about playing a 19th season. According to Sun-Sentinel, Allen said, "It's August and I don't want to rush to judgment. I want to get to September and see how I really feel." He averaged 26 minutes and 9.6 points off the bench and made 37.5 percent of his three-point shots for the Heat last season. He is NBA's all-time leader in three-pointer shooting.
