Ghostbusters 3 release date: Who you gonna' call about Rumors and speculations about the cast, filming starts next year
Based on the reports, rumors claimed that the sequel will about to feature the all female crew for the third installment of Ghostbuster 3. Due to the death of Harold Ramis who happened to have a major role in the film (Egon Spengler), the script that was already written needs to be revised according to Sony Pictures. In addition to this, Ivan Reitman, producer and director of Ghostbuster temporarily quit because of Ramis death. But the studio promised that they will be looking for the best substitute.
In the middle of ruckus, big and great news finally arrived. Sony Pictures was spotted meeting with the Bridesmaids Director, Paul Feig. Will this be the new horizon for the fans of Ghostbuster? Well, there are rumors from the celebrity gossip known website, Perezhilton.com that Director Paul Feig already said yes and he is now officially part of the upcoming project, Ghostbuster 3. But the search is not over yet, according to Hollywood Reporter since it is not yet decided and the negotiation is not yet done although Feig is one of their (company) first choices.
Well, this is something not to be worried about because "It's going to be different. So it (part 3) has to be original and it has to be something that is worth all the 30 years of waiting."
The Ghostbuster 3 gone through a lot of issues. Hence, there are extensions and gestations period, but one thing is for sure, the filming of Ghostbuster 3 is expected to be during the summer of 2015.
