Harrison Ford's Recovery Resumes Star Wars 7 Filming
At the premiere of the movie Expendables 3 in Los Angeles, Harrison Ford showed up looking all back to good health, all smiles and full of positive spirits and ready to resume his filming duties for Star Wars Episode 7.
Back in June, the acting legend who is reprising his iconic role as Han Solo in the franchise sustained a leg injury when Millenium Falcon spacecraft's hydraulic door fell on him while shooting at Pinewood studios in London. He later had to undergo surgery to expedite his recuperation. With the accident, filming was temporarily on break while waiting for Ford to be completely recovered before going back to the set.
There is no confirmation as of yet if Harrison Ford will immediately fly back to London for filming, but one thing's for sure filming is moving forward later this August. And good news is that the original release date of December 18 next year is still pushing through and wasn't affected by the filming break.
Despite the temporary filming break; Mark Hamill, who along with Harrison Ford played Luke Skywalker in three Star Wars films: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi has been spotted filming in a remote island called Skellig Michael. Rumors are suggesting that he could be mentoring young Jedis in Episode 7 just like Obi Wan Kenobi.
Carrie Fisher is also back as Princess Leia, other new cast includes Oscar Isaac, Christina Chong, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Andy Serkis and Max Von Sydow.
