Homeland Season 4 Premiere, Trailer Information, Spoilers And Cast News: Season 4 Of Homeland Scheduled To Premiere With Two Back To Back Episodes
We have the latest for you on the premiere, trailer information, spoilers and cast news for Season 4 of Homeland. There is some good news for those who follow the Homeland series as the 4th season is scheduled to premiere with two back to back episodes. The upcoming season will follow Carrie (Claire Danes) as she works as a case officer in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Gary Levine, the Showtime executive vice president of the series said, "In the aftermath of Homeland's stunning finale last season, there is such a strong anticipation for the start of season four that we wanted to give Homeland fans an extra generous helping of Carrie and company. Once we decided to premiere 'Homeland' with a double episode, it made sense to use the momentum of that event to launch our newest series, 'The Affair, the very next week on October 12th ." According to the co-creator, Alex Gansa, Homeland season 4 is "exciting and terrifying," under the circumstances that they are relaunching the series without Brody, Damien Lewis.
Regarding Claire coping with her loss, Gansa told Entertainment Weekly that Claire might have difficulty. He said, "On managing her mental illness, she's quite sable. Where she is managing her grief about her loss of Brody is a different question." Although Gansa is not trying to rule out the possibility of flashbacks featuring the fallen character, it can be recalled that Brody was executed in the season finale of season 3. Gansa said, "He was such a significant part of Carrie's life that just to drop him completely would feel wrong, because Carrie is grieving for his loss."
Gansa, the showrunner also hinted that there is a new romance on the horizon for Carrie as she continues to see a lot of CIA Officer Quinn. He said, "The question is whether Carrie is in any kind of emotional state to be open to a romance of any kind and does Quinn realize that's the case." The trailer for season 4 is already online giving fans a sneak peek on what to expect from the upcoming season. The good news is that 'Homeland season 4 will air its premiere on October 5th on show time. You can count on us as we shall give you the latest information on this that we shall get our hands on.
