Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare Release Date, Trailer Information, Multiplayer, Gameplay And Wii U Edition: Developing Of Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare To Skip Wii U
We have the latest for you on the release date, trailer information, multiplayer, gameplay and Wii U edition of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The developer of Call of Duty confirmed that Call of Duty will be skipping the Wii U. The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was announced back in May for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC with PS3 and Xbox 360 being confirmed later. Sledgehammer Games is putting more focus on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC version of the game with an unconfirmed studio. The Sledgehammer co-founder, Michael Condrey said that there will not be a Wii U version of the game which he further explained on twitter that this was an Activision decision."
In the previous years, Activision confirmed Call of Duty games for Nintendo platforms well after they had announced each year's entry. The Wii U version of Modern Warfare 3 was announced in August 2011, several months since the other versions were revealed. Wii U owners waited till September for a confirmation of Black Ops 2. Last year, the Call Of Duty: Ghosts did not have a version of Wii U until it was confirmed in July.
Advanced warfare is the first game to be released as part of the franchise's new three-year development cycle. It runs on a new engine and also introduces futuristic exosuits that provide players with all sorts of new superhuman abilities. The game also claims to elevate multiplayer capability to new heights. The game's trailer is already online giving fans a look of what to expect from the game when it is finally released. We have contacted Activision to find out the reason why they decided to skip Wii U this year. With each year's Call of Duty release routinely being among the year's best sellers, this is a major game not to be on Nintendo's platform. However, Activision is not the only publisher deciding to avoid releasing its games in Wii U. While watchdogs may come into the system; Ubisoft recently said that it will be the last mature game on Wii U for the time being. It is expected that Advanced Warfare will be released on 4th November for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
It is now becoming a trend that companies do not want to put their games on Wii U. A lot has been said about the upcoming game with the fans excited about the soon-to-be released game. We shall keep you informed about any new updates we get on this.
