Mass Effect 4 Release Date News: Possibly Take Several Years For Release, May Not Be Named As 'Mass Effect 4'
Mass Effect 4 release date is nothing but a guesswork for the fans as of now. There is no clue or signs of Mass Effect 4 release date announcement from the studios. Producers are preferring to remain mum about making any comment on the date. But, yes the producers have confirmed that the game is under development and it may take several years for its release.
This is all what we know about the game so far. Mike Gamble has said that they are developing the game but cannot assume when it will be up for release. This came in light due to Amazon's ads that displayed Mass Effect 4 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
On the other hand, Executive Producer Casey Hudson stated they would prefer to give a much-needed break to the franchise since it has been there now for couple of years. It is believed that Hudson has resigned from the franchise, but BioWare hasn't confirmed it yet.
The Mass Effect is role-playing third person shooter science fiction video games. The game is developed by Canadian Company BioWare. All the three installments received huge accolades for the storyline, characters, romances, voice and overall visual effects. GamesRadar even termed it as the best new franchise of the generation. The first installment was released on November 20, 2007 and the latest on March 6, 2012.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the forth version of Mass Effect. On November 12, 2012, Bioware officially declared they are working on the new Mass Effect. The game is also said to be produced in Montreal. Mass Effect 4 was officially announced at E3 2014 on June 9, 2014. However, as per Community Manager Chris Priestly, it would not be named as Mass Effect 4.
