'Scandal' Season 4 Release Date: September 25 on ABC; Columbus Short Exits, Portia de Rossi Joins The Political Thriller

Scandal season 4 release date is officially out and slated for release on September 25 at a new time 9 pm on ABC. The new season is expected to have revived story will core casts coming back to the focus.

The 3rd season ended dramatically where Olivia takes off on a plane with Jake betraying the family and the Washington. President Fitzgerald Grant stands for reelection. 
As per the sources, Columbus Short will be exiting the series. It was also give entry to Portia de Rossi. The Gladiators are all set to get back into action with new cast members joining them to make 'Scandal' more thrilling and exciting.

Scandal is a popular American political thriller series. Kerry Washington plays a lead role in the series as Olivia Pope. The show is created by Shonda Rhimes. 
The first show was introduced in 2012, season 2 in September, 2012 while season 3 in October 2013. The fourth season is set to be aired on September 25, 2014. It will be aired on ABC at 9:00 pm.

Scandal season 4 cast will include Kerry Washington in lead role along with Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes,m Guillermo Diaz, Jeff Perry, Tony Goldwyn, Joshua Malina, Bellamy Young and Scott Foley. The new comers will include Portia de Rossi, Josh Randall, Mary McCormick, Del Negro and Walger.

The title of the first episode of the Scandal season 4 episode is said to be named as 'Randy'. It is interesting to see if Liv and Jake will be seen together in the new series or how the triangle takes shape, or whether a third person makes an entry into the plot. The suspense will only be revealed on September 25. All eyes on it.
