Terminator: Genisys 2015 movie latest news: It's Genisys not Genesis and Skynet confirms that Terminator Genisys is not a reboot
Yes you read it right. Though it was initially named as Terminator Genesis , a social media post from Arnold Schwarzenegger - fresh from filming the highly anticipated robot action film - says so otherwise as he snapped a photo of himself seated on what seems to be the director's chair with the words Terminator: Genisys written at the back.
Name change aside, there has been breaking news relating to once called Terminator Genesis film. It is not a reboot but rather a sequel according to Skynet Productions.
It would also seem that there have been a lot of Terminator Genisys spoilers floating about in the internet including how Schwarzenegger would be reprising his role of T-800. The T-800 many have known and loved will be sporting a much older look according to sources. Schwarzenegger spoils us that the reason for the aged look is that though T-800 may have the insides of a robot, the skin built all around him is made from human skin and can age much like any other human's. Pretty clever idea, don't you think? But unfortunately for us, though there have been spoilers, there has been not much solid Terminator Genisys plot details except for bits here and there such as the fact that we will be seeing Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor in prison or to see them arrested in 2017 by Sandrine Holt and Detective Cheung.
The Terminator Genisys cast involves both old and fresh faces. Joining the Terminator Genisys cast is Douglas Smith who recently appeared as the Cyclops, Tyson, in the young adult book-to-movie flick Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. Another is fitness trainer-turned actor Aaron Williamson who will be taking on the role of a younger T-800 which will be controlled by Skynet.
Terminator: Genisys will be hitting theaters around July 1, 2015.
