It is now official that Jennifer Love Hewitt joins the cast of the successful TV series Criminal Minds as it open for season 10. The show's executive producer, Erica Messer, confirmed all these information with her statement to TV Guide saying, "Kate (Hewitt's character) is smart, charming, and wise for her years."

She will be providing some insights about psychology and how the murder took place according to the motives of the criminals. Her character is definitely going to be an asset to the BAU team.
