Apple's iOS 8 beta 6 Latest Updates: Release Date Speculations, Specifications and Features
Apple's iOS 8 beta 6 was expected to be released on September 3, but there are no news about it yet anywhere online. Many sources claimed that iOS 8 would be released in the first week of September. Yes, it did release, but only for the carriers and testing partners.
Apple's media event is to be held on September 9, all the testing partners are ordered to accept the new iOS 8 beta 6 by September 5. The event will feature the launch of iPhone 6. Apple released Yosemite beta 6 without iOS 8 beta for developers.
Reports claim that iOS 8 beta 6 corrects functionality between iOS 8 and OS X problems including iCloud Sync and Maps using massive data. The iOS 8 was rejected for causing problems in YouTube's functioning in Safari browsers.
According to Apple, the new iOS 8 shall support iPads, iPod Touch and the latest iPhones. Specifications predicted include - iMessage, healthkit, file sharing between PC and iphone, iPad and Mac. CMO Matt Johnston of Applause stated "the people that forge ahead and use the new features and get it right, their apps are going to appear borderline magic to their users."
Experts believe as per the Apple's pattern of release schedule, the golden master of iOS 8 will be available to developers on September 9 after the new phones are declared. That could possibly be September 17. No official announcement is made by Apply yet about the actial release date.
