Agents of Shield Season 2: Sneak Peek at New Season as ABC Drops Trailer
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD finally returns on your TV screens this coming Sept. 23, and before we actually see the new challenges and adventures of the team headed by Agent Phil Coulson, ABC teases the viewers with a sneak peek of a dark and troubled Agents of SHIELD showing Phil Coulson and his team on the run.
Taking off from the events in Marvel's first blockbuster release Captain America: The Winter Soldier, we come to see that SHIELD, the shadowy government agency has been infiltrated by Hydra. Viewers can also recall from season one's finale that Coulson and his team have found out they got betrayed, and now they have to hide and protect themselves and those they have lost. How is Coulson going to handle this problem? Will he be able to bring the team up again?
"This is a make or break moment. The enemy has the advantage but we have to fight on for those we've lost so the sacrifices they made were not made in vain. And then we'll disappear, become ghosts. That's how we have to live now. In the shadows, to protect the innocent, to save lives; even when they don't know it," says Agent Phil Coulson in a serious tone as he looks out of a window.
Season 2 will also bring first time appearances of new characters, such as Lucy Lawless (Isabelle Hartley) and Adrianne Palicki (Mockingbird), and Nick Blood (Lance Hunter).
Don't miss the season 2 premiere this Sept. 23 on ABC at 9pm.
