The Walking Dead Season 5 News, Rumors, Spoilers, and Updates: New Trailer Released by AMC
AMC released the latest trailer for Season 5 of The Walking Dead titled "Never Let Your Guard Down."
The trailer features a few alarming situations for our survivors. One scene depicts Glenn (played by Steven Yeun) on his knees, gagged and has his hands tied behind his back, while a man behind him holds a baseball bat looking to take a swing at him. Another scene is a bus flipping in the middle of the road, but what is most notable is the scene when a huge fiery explosion causes numerous of the undead to fly to the air. Check out the trailer below.
"It's not over until they are all dead," says Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln to his son Carl (played by Chandler Riggs).
The theme of the new season is "Hunt or be Hunted," and it seems to be heavily emphasized for the new trailer. Many have speculated that season 5 will feature the comic book villains, The Hunters, who hunt down and eat people to survive. They have not yet made an appearance for the television series, and it may be in fact the people in Terminus. Not much has been revealed concerning the plot of the upcoming season, but it's safe to say that maybe some of our beloved characters might end up by the end of the season.
The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres on October 12 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chad Coleman, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Emily Kinney, Danai Gurira and Sonequa Martin-Green.
