Jason Crabb's New Video Touches Hearts

Jason Crabb
When Southern Gospel star and GRAMMY-award winner Jason Crabb was making plans to shoot the video for his song, he wanted to touch people who are hurting and going through hard times on multiple levels. He spoke with Fox affiliate WBRC in August when the video was being filmed in Birmingham, Alabama, saying, "Whatever the situation, everybody has obstacles, hurdles. You record a record, hope it touches lives - encourages someone."
He did just on the the Roman White-directed video. Starring Ashley DeRamus of The Ashley DeRamus Foundation, the video shares a story of a father who goes off to war, leaving his daughter (who has Down syndrome) behind. An IED (improvised explosive device) cuts his tour short and the video shares his long road towards full recovery. Rather than using professional actors, Crabb and White invited veterans and families from throughout the Southeast who are impacted by Down syndrome to appear in the touching video. As you see them on screen, knowing the challenges they must face every day, you can't help but be inspired and encouraged as you hear Jason sing, "Life is tough, but love is stronger."
