Ghostbusters 3 Latest News and Update: In The Making With An All-Female Cast, Top Choices Revealed

In a Ghostbusters 3 update, Bill Murray revealed his top choices to star in an all-female Ghostbusters. Murray have said in the past that he will not be involved in the latest installment of the film, but he did said that an all-female cast is a great idea and he is excited about it. Come to think of it, an all-female Ghostbusters 3 will offer viewers something new and fresh.

Murray said in an interview with the Toronto Star, "I'm fine with it. I would go to that movie, and they'd probably have better outfits, too." He even has some ideas who should play the part in Ghostbusters 3. One of his favorite is Melissa McCarthy. McCarthy and Murray are working together in the movie, "St. Vincent." Murray added, "Melissa would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig is so funny - God, she's funny! "I like this girl Linda Cardellini (Mad Men) a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there."

Ivan Reitman, director and producer of Ghostbusters 3, is not revealing who are going to be included in the film. Reitman is also the director of Ghostbusters I and II. There had been rumors that Reitman is considering Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to star in Ghostbusters 3.

Melissa Mccarthy revealed that she hasn't been approached to star in Ghostbusters 3, but she said that the role is a daunting task because being part of the Ghostbusters franchise is a "taking on a legend." She expressed that Ghostbusters I and II are legendary movies and that she would love to work with "those ladies" - referring to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who were both rumored to be included in the film.

Ghostbusters III is set to start filming by next year. There's no news yet as to when is the target screening for the film.
