Prison Break Stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell Reunites in the New Series 'The Flash'
The current promotion of the upcoming television series - The Flash, has revealed the names of various actors, who will play a role in the series.
The Prison Break Connection
The Hollywood Reporter publicized that three former cast members of the Prison Break television show, are going to play important roles in the upcoming The Flash television series.
Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will battle The Flash (played by Grant Gustin). Purcell will be introduced as Mick Rory aka Heatwave. He is known in the DC Comic books as a Pyromaniac. On an Mstarz post, Heatwave uses a handheld flamethrower. Miller, on the other hand, will appear on the fourth episode of The Flash, and he will play the role of Leonard Snart a.k.a Captain Cold. A third Prison Break actor will also join the other two. Robert Knepper (known in Prison Break as "T-Bag") will play the role of Clock King.
The Flash Storyline
Here is an excerpt about The Flash. It reads, "Barry Allen was just 11 years old when his mother was killed in a bizarre and terrifying incident and his father was falsely convicted of the murder. He later grew up to become a forensic investigator. One day, he was struck by lightning while watching the public display of a particle accelerator. Nine months later, he woke up from his coma. Once awaken, he suddenly possessed the power of lightning speed."
The synopsis ends with the following words, "For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won't be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become...The Flash."
The Flash will be released on October 7 this year. The show will premiere on the CW Channel.
