Avatar 2 Spoilers, News, Reveals, Release Date and Reviews: Next Movie to Explore Ocean Scenery of Pandora
Avatar 2 is an epic science fiction film directed, written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron. The film starring Sam Worthington; Zoe Saldana; Stephen Lang; CCH Pounder; Joe David Moore and the possible return Giovanni Ribisi. The film has been scheduled for a 2016 premiere exactly three years after the original. Unlike the original, Avatar 2 is expected to take filming to a totally different level as the director, James Cameron, explores a different ecosystem for filming that is the sea. This was picked up in a hint he dropped on ABC's Nightline back in October when he said "we will explore the Oceans of Pandora."
The original Avatar concentrated on the development of individual characters and introduction to the mineral enriched world Pandora. The story of the movie began in 1994 when Cameron wrote an 80 page treatment for the film. Filming was supposed to take place after the completion of Cameron's 1997 work of art Titanic, for a planned release in 1999. The film was instead released in 2013 due to lack of the necessary technology to achieve his vision of the film. The development thus gives us a wider scope of the relationship between the different worlds and their inhibitors despite their different cultures and ethnic beliefs.
Before the original film was released, James Cameron had earlier talked about turning Avatar into a trilogy of films that would follow for sure Neytiri and later after the film's release Jake Sully as well. Shortly after his announcement, Cameron also went further to say the film will most likely not be called "Avatar 2" since Jake was no longer an Avatar at the end of the first movie, but rather Na'vi. He claims to once again do the impossible by having a much shorter production, and the sequel's production to be much cheaper than the original. He then concluded by saying fans should expect the first sequel of the Avatar instalment to be shot in a higher frame rate than the original.
