Now, Microsoft is giving phone lovers further reason to celebrate as it just released the newest version of its Windows phone. Reports say that the new Windows Phone 8.1 will be called Windows Phone Blue.
Windows Phone 8.1 was announced on April 2, 2014 at the company's conference in San Francisco, California. On April 14, 2014, Windows Phone developers were given its final form but it was only on the 15th of July same year that it was generally available. As of August 3, Microsoft has officially supported it.
The release of Windows Phone Blue was postponed several times as it conflicted with the launch date of the updated operating system. The new OS launch was then pushed back so Windows Phone 8.1 will be out in the market. Then, the company opted to release more phone updates in terms of the operating system during the past three years until it perfected the features of Windows Phone 8.1.
Before the release of the new model, some people had a sneak peek of the product which boasted of a high resolution screen that is about 1080ppi and six inches wide. It is somehow in-line with the combined features of phone and tablet or Phablet. In addition, it is supported by a quad-core processor perfect for high speed demand processing unit.
Some reports claim that Windows Phone 8.1 portrays screenshots and SDK. It is also said to have an improvised battery life ideal for long time usage as well as a new language and support for Cortona. It further features a revision of the internet explorer mobile that brings another dimension to the usage of Chrome for Android and Safari for IOS.
Simply put, Microsoft is moving forward to the next level of models that will fit the needs of users and compete with other models in the market.
