Everyone loves Apple and now even more with the release of new products. New iPhones are outstanding and so is the upcoming Watch, however, most Apple users await the release of new operating system coming for iPhones, iPods and iPads.
From whatever we saw of iOS8, it looks truly amazing and will possibly touch our lives in many different ways. As many users already know, iOS 8 is releasing on some of the selected devices only, which includes 5 existing iPhones, 6 iPads, and just one iPod, which is the 5th Gen version.
According to latest rumors, this new operating system will be released for updates on iPod Touch 5 in just three days and on Sept. 19, Friday.
Although iPod 5 supports all the new iOS 8 features, users will have to comprise on health app functionality in absence of systems that can measure heart rate and calories burned.
How can you update iOS 8 on iOS 7 with iPod 5?
As soon as the update is rolled out in North America, you will get the notification in Software Update. It is going to take a while till your iPod is ready to run on new operating system and it is suggested that you keep the phone in charging for the time. Also make sure that the battery stays around 80 percent when you begin. Of course, the data connection or WiFi must be ready to download along with at least 1 GB storage space.
