Dracula Untold New Extended Trailer, Plot, Release Date And Latest News: Extended Trailer Dubbed "Men Become Monsters" Features Charles Dance As A Supernatural Entity Who Gives Vlad Vampiric Powers
We have the latest for you on the new extended trailer, plot, release date and latest news of Dracula Untold. Nowadays, vampire stories are not hard to come by, but with next Month's new Dracula Untold coming up, it could be somehow worthwhile as well as refreshing. The movie has the makings of an ancient world war epic according to the extended trailer. However, it has a supernatural horror twist in it and a modern outlook on how the man that was Vlad Tepes acted by Luke Evans becomes the creature of the night - Dracula- and as the trailer emphasizes an interesting account on what drove him to embrace the dark in the first place.
Luke Evens who play Dracula is not a stranger to the franchise material as he has been involved in several movies including the Hobbit and Fast and Furious. In this movie however, he takes up the lead character. Also debuting on a feature-length effort are film screenwriters Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama and the director, Gary Shore.
The extended trailer dubbed "Men Become Monsters" features Charles Dance as a supernatural entity who gives Vlad the Vampiric powers. This highlights the movie idea in which Vlad starts as a normal descent guy who by circumstances transforms to something terrible. "You are alive because of what I did to save you" says Vlad Tepes in the trailer, this may suggest that indeed the movie will paint Dracula's story in deeper strokes of grey rather than black and white.
We are further shown several variations based on this idea of well meaning protagonists changing to something else in the recent years. We also get to see Dracula's family and the main reason as to why he has to go to extreme measures to protect them. We are shown the humanity part of the story instead of the action scenes; this is rather useful part of the film. The trailer reveals the true man before the transformation to the Vampire of Legends - Dracula. Judging by the trailer also, Dracula Untold seems like it could be a little bit more cohesive and contain more substance.
The cast include Sarah Gadon, Samantha Barks, Charlie Cox, Zach McGowan and Art Parkinson. It is set to be released on October 10th in the US.
