'Interstellar' Latest News and Updates:'Interstellar' Trailer, Cast and Why It's One of the Most Highly Anticipated Film of the Year

Interstellar is the latest Sci-Fi movie of the year. This Christopher Nolan's film is highly anticipated and is predicted, to be the next blockbuster film of the year. He agreed to do the film last March 2013. Rumors are flying left and right that he's using the same technique, that he used, for "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises" - he's using IMAx cameras.

Back in 2007, Jonah Nolan started working on the script. The movie is all about time travel and space wormholes. It has been rumored that when Christopher Nolan agreed to be involved in the project, some changes to the original script was made. Some reports claimed, that Christopher Nolan will merge his ideas, that he has been developing for quite some time, with Jonah Nolan's script.

Matthew McConaughey is going to play the lead role as Cooper. Anne Hathaway plays the role of Amelia Brand. Together, Cooper and Amelia joined a mission to travel a wormhole to try and save humanity. In the trailer, you can see Cooper as a father who is leaving his daughter behind, to save the world. Interstellar is more than just a sci-fi movie - it has a heart.

In an excerpt from the Interstellar official website, it reads, "In the future, governments and economies across the globe have collapsed, food is scarce, NASA is no more, and the 20th Century is to blame. A mysterious rip in spacetime opens and it's up to whatever is left of NASA to explore and offer up hope for mankind."

"Interstellar chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage."

Are the explorers assigned to help "future" Earth, can actually help humankind? I guess we all just have to watch Interstellar on Nov. 7, 2014.
