The Williamsons Welcome A New Lead Singer

The Williamsons
While the group is saddened by the loss of their long time friend, they are excited to welcome Karl Rice as their new lead singer. Karl spent seven years as tenor for the The Anchormen, one of the country's premier Southern Gospel male quartets. With his ability to play several different instruments, as do group owners Donnie and Lisa Williamson, fans can expect a lot more live music at their shows in the future. Rice will be relocating to Wetumka with his wife Daniela and daughter Grace in the near future.
The Williamsons, who have plans for a new project coming soon, are one of the country’s few true mixed quartets traveling today with Louisiana native Darin Hebert singing bass. In 2013, they were nominated in the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards as Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Favorite Group of the Year and were in the top ten nominees as Favorite New Mixed Group in the Singing News Fan Awards.
