It's raining gadgets from the sky.There are so many events lined up to introduce new technologies that are bound to change our lives.
After the much awaited Apple event, tech crazy fans want to know what Google has to offer now. It is already known that they are coming up with the Android L to take on iOS 8, but Nexus 8 is due for release soon.
According to latest updates, Google had searched a bit for launch partners and finally, they went with HTC to mass produce Nexus 8. Interestingly, HTC has scheduled an event in New York on October 8 and this can possibly be what everyone is waiting for. Rumors also suggest that Google may release their new operating system on the same date. For now, it is safe to say that Google Nexus 8 release is October, 8, 2014.
Device Specifications
There is no doubt that Nexus 8 will have to compete with iPad Mini 2 and that won't be easy. Probably that's why they planned a 64-bit android phone with new chips developed by Intel. It is loaded with PowerVR G6430 GPU and will be faster than anything else. As mentioned, it will run on the latest operating system from Google too.

This device will be interesting in many ways. If certain reports are to be believed, Google plans to launch this device at a lower price than its predecessor to take on the intense competition. You can expect to own this device for a mere $275, making it a great budget buy over iPads.
