How to Update to iOS 8 without Space: Available Now

How to Update to iOS 8 without Space: Available Now
Apple has rolled out the biggest update in last two years. While everyone was excited about it and did not waste time in downloading it, some users are currently facing huge difficulties with the required space.
Even though the update is supposed to be just 980 MBs, some of those who tried to download it saw the message 'This update cannot be installed because it requires at least 5.7GB of storage' popping out, which halts the update. It is actually a tricky situation especially when a user's phone storage is already full with pictures and others important data. In fact, iPhone 4S users with 8 GB face a rather impossible situation.
The easiest approach is of course deleting the unwanted data. After which, users can go to Setting> General> Software and begin downloading.
However, if there are issues with storage space, one can connect the phone to computer and download iOS 8 update on iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 with the help of iTunes. A better idea is to have a backup, so if anything goes wrong, there will be no problem in restoring the data.
On the other hand, if there is no computer around you, deleting some of the applications and songs are the best way to make some storage space. Similarly, clear cache and other things that might be creating problems.
Of course, the update won't actually take the 5.7 GB space on the phone, it's just for the update process and you can install the apps and songs later too.
