After the very long wait your favorite crime solving supernatural drama, Sleepy Hollow returns to screen for a second season on Fox Network. The series which based its story on a town called Sleepy Hollow where unexplainable Horrors happen for example the appearance of a headless Horseman who turns out to be one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse specifically 'Death' who goes cutting off people's heads.
The other horsemen were expected to make an appearance in the coming season that is season 2 of Sleepy Hollow these include, 'Hunger', 'Pestilence' and "war'. Spoiler alert, the cast doesn't seem to have changed much as compared to Sleepy Hollow season one as Ichabod is still present, Abby, Ichabod's partner is still in it , Jenny (Abby's Sister) very much present Katrina (Ichabod's Dead Witch wife) is there and even our favorite Headless Horseman, 'Death' has not been left behind.
With the season finale on Sleepy Hollow season one having introduced the audience to Zombie George Washington, season two seems to be an upgrade of its predecessor as more action and thrill is expected in the new season right from when it premieres.
More spoilers, Abby will get stuck in purgatory, while she is stuck in limbo; she does not submit to its tricks and will refuse to go down without a final battle. "It's about fighting off to where you're not giving in to it. You're not succumbing to its tricks and all the things that it's luring you with," Len Wiseman (Exclusive producer of Sleepy Hollow) said on TVGuide.com. But other sources claim that Abby will not be alone in Purgatory, she will have a friend to help her out though the identity of the friend is yet to be revealed.
One may think from the photos revealed of the pilot episode that they are hints and clues but don't forget what you are watching, it is Sleepy Hollow it's full of mysteries, surprises and twists and turns. News has spread on who might be next to face the Headless horseman's Axe but this are just mere rumors.
Season two of Sleepy Hollow is set to premiere on Monday September 22nd at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
