NCIS Season 12 Spoilers, Premiere, Live Streaming And Latest Updates: Season 12 Is All About Bringing The Team Together And Sort Of Keeping The Family Going, And Really Emphasizing The Group
We have the latest for you on the spoilers, premiere, live streaming and latest updates of NCIS season 12. Gary Glasberg, creator of the TV series NCIS talked about the upcoming 12th season of NCIS where he intends to take a Back to back approach for the upcoming year. Last season left many viewers in suspense and with many questions as the season finale of season 11 of NCIS saw the departure of Ziva (Cote de Pablo). It also introduced us to Bishop (Emily Wickersham), The NCIS: New Orleans backdoor pilot and a tribute episode to Ralph Waite-Glasberg says he is excited to be entering a more character-driven run.
"Season 12 is all about bringing the team together and sort of keeping the family going, and really emphasizing the group," Glasberg told TVGuide.com. Glasberg is the show runner of NCIS: New Orleans. He further added, "We made a deliberate decision at the end of season 11 to really do that."
Tuesday is the set date for the season premiere of the upcoming season which will find Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and McGee (Sean Murray) on their way to Russia where they will be escorting an NCIS computer engineer to his home safely. But to their shock they will find themselves as targets of a local mercenary group which puts both their lives in danger and which the NCIS classifies as an Intel risk.
On other news, fans can expect not only full packed action but also a hint of romance as in the upcoming season 12 Dinozzo (Weatherly) will finally put Tiva behind him and Weatherly couldn't be happier. "I think he's moved past the wounded bird phase. It's really exciting. I don't think I've been this excited since maybe season three... I think season 12 is going to be a revelatory year. He's probably going to have more fun than he's ever had," the actress said.
In season 12 of NCIS Leia Pendergast (Stephanie Jacobsen) will be introduced around in episode 4. Her background will be she was a former U.S marshal-turned-FBI joint Terrorism Task Force leader who will partner with tony on a case. As for McGilah though Delilah (Margo Harshman) accepts a job in Dubai, this does not mean that it will keep Kibosh on her and McGee's relationship for good, Glasberg explained as this was meant to be a caution.
In the upcoming season it is exciting to note the introduction of a new villain to the story of which Gibbs and McGee encounter when they make their trip to Russia.
NCIS returns Tuesday at 8/7c on CBS.
