iOS 8 Features for iPhone 4S: All Exclusive Details You Need
It is always exciting to know that something new has been launched for you phone. Anything from a security fix to new ringtone makes life a little more interesting out of those boring days. So, just when Apple announced their new operating system for portable devices, iPhone users hoped that it is coming to their device too.
Unfortunately, any device launched before iPhone 4S does not support the new iOS 8. Of course, regular iPhone 4 users hate this information but Apple maintains that only 4S and later devices can handle the RAM and other system requirements to run this software update successfully.
However, Apple iPhone 4S cannot support all the functions and features available with iOS 8 including TrackID and Health apps. Apple has installed finger print recognition hardware button only in 5S, 6, and 6 Plus. Similarly, the ability to count heart rate and calories are also available for only newer devices.
So, what exactly are the features of iOS8 available for iPhone 4S. There is definitely iMessages, Apple Pay, improved Siri with song recognition ability, better photo sorting and storing, improved keyboard and language support with predictive text, and hiding different stuff including recent contacts.
Now obviously not all of these features are interesting to all 4S users. That's precisely why Apple has provided option to get rid of them. From predictive text to voice message and video sharing, you can turn it all off through General Settings options. In fact, complete U2 album can be deleted or you can recover recently deleted photos.
