'Big Bang Theory' Season 8 Spoilers: No Wedding for Leonard and Penny

'Big Bang Theory' Season 8 Spoilers: No Wedding for Leonard and Penny
The "Big bang Theory" is back, having premiered last Monday, September 22. We all saw season seven ended with Sheldon deciding to "get on a train and leave forever". This decision is based on his feeling that he can no longer handle all the changes and developments happening in his life. This however did not end well as we saw last Monday, he was robbed and Leonard and Amy have to go down to Arizona to fetch him back home. With that on the table, we already know Sheldon won't be going anywhere. So, what else can we expect from the eight season of the "Big Bang Theory"? Let's have a look.
As we may all remember, Leonard and Penny were engaged at the end of season seven. However, a wedding would not be happening in this season. This news was broken down by executive producer Steve Molaro during an interview with TV Guide. According to him, they would not rush the couple to any wedding. This is entirely understandable since having the wedding would ultimately change the complexion of the whole show. Therefore, keeping them engaged is a very logical move for the whole production.
Another thing worth considering is that Penny would be going through some changes in her career which could potentially affect their engagement. She is leaving her previous job and will now be working as a pharmaceutical sales representative. This change, which could easily bring her financial stability, could create some changes in the dynamics of their relationship. Fans of the show can look forward to this and see how this change can affect her relationship and the whole show.
Sheldon, like Penny would also have a career change this season. He will now be teaching as a junior professor. The funny thing is that nobody, except Howard is interested in taking his course.
Lastly, fans should also look forward to Sheldon and Amy's relationship. According to Molaro, they are moving this couple forward in baby steps. It would be pretty interesting to see how Sheldon's social skills get on the way as Amy continues to drag him along in the relationship.
This is what really makes this show great. The issues they face are serious but the way each character deals with them is just hilarious. The "Big Bang Theory" Season 8 runs every Monday night at 8pm ET until October 30. After that it will move back to its original schedule which is Thursday at 8pm ET.
