There has been a lot said about the upcoming Blackberry Classic which has really been awaited by the fans. There are reports saying that the Blackberry Classic will be released very soon with some saying that it will be released today, Wednesday 24th September. The Canadian Telecommunication Company Blackberry Limited could launch the Blackberry Classic alongside Blackberry Passport, or it could wait until later in the year for the launch.
There are photos and videos about the upcoming Blackberry Classic which have been leaked and they showed some of the specs of the upcoming Blackberry flagship. There has been no word about the leaked photos and videos from Blackberry Limited except just to say that the soon-to-come device will be "crafted from premium materials and designed for reliability and durability." From the leaked video, it is said that the dimensions of the upcoming flagship will be 5.11*2.83*0.35 inches. Although there are speculations of a 24th September release, the device might just not be released until late November or even early December.
The new smartphone is speculated to have a 3.5-inch screen display with 1440*1440 screen resolution and 582 ppi. There are other rumors though which say that the Blackberry Classic will have 720*720 display with a 291 ppi. It will also reportedly have a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and 2GB of RAM. It will also have an extra microSD slot with a potential of up to 64GB, plus a 2515 mAh battery cell. There are varied speculations about the camera of the battery where they vary between 8MP and 13MP.
When it comes to the software of the device, it is speculated to run on Blackberry 10 OS 10.3.1. The smartphone will have Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, NFC capacity and Bluetooth. According to rumors, the Blackberry Q20 Classic will go at $235 with a 2-year contract. The upcoming Blackberry flagship is expected to have an aluminum frame and a rectangular shape with rounded edges and a QWERTY keyboard. The smartphone is also speculated to have the 'old-school' belt of function keys-the call menu, trackpad, back and end buttons, and according to MobileSyrup.com, the buttons will be close to the screen.
