Relive one of the largest and influential films in motion picture history in a sequel.
"Jurassic World," also known as "Jurassic Park IV," is the fourth installment of Universal Picture's epic science-fiction dinosaur franchise, "Jurassic Park" (1993), which chronicled on a multimillionaire who divulges a new theme park on a remote island where people can view and observe roaming live dinosaurs cloned using the advanced DNA technology.
The cast includes Cinemacon Award Breakthrough Performer of the Year and Critics' Choice TV Award Best Supporting Actor nominee Christ Pratt from the "Guardians of the Galaxy," Golden Globe Best Performance by an Actress in a mini-series or a Motion Picture Made for Television Award nominee Bryce Dallas Howard from "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and "Terminator Salvation," Nick Robinson from "The King of Summer," Ty Simpkins from "Iron Man 3," Jake Johnson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Omar Sy, Judy Greer and Andy Buckley.
Colin Trevorrow was set to pilot the action adventure film, alongside Derek Conolly serving as his script co-writer. The fourth installment was written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver from 2011 American science-fiction film "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." The film was executive produced by Steven. Most of the film was shot at New Orleans.
Director Trevorrow decided to memorialize the late Lord Richard Attenborough, with a sculpture devoted to his depiction of John Hammond. The dinosaur film reveals a fulfillment of John Hammond's visions and dreams, featuring a fully-functioning dinosaur theme park in Isla Nublar with about 20,000 visitors a day. The new park is owned by the Masrani Corporation.
Trevorrow also confirmed that the production of the film has officially finished.
The new film sequel is set twenty-two years since the horrifying experience from the first installment. A trailer is expected to be released soon. "Jurassic World" will be shot in 3D and is expected to debut on June 12, 2015 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D. Unveil the breathtaking adventure you'll want to experience over and over again.
